Senior HR Manager – Saudi National

An exciting opportunity to work for a well-established, multidisciplinary engineering and consultancy organisation with a strong and growing presence in Riyadh. As part of a planned leadership succession, they are seeking an experienced, hands on Senior HR Manager to help shape the future of their Human Resources function locally.

The successful candidate will lead the standardisation of local HR policies and processes in line with the organisation's global framework, strengthen succession planning and leadership assessment, support the transition to HR shared services, and drive core HR metrics across talent, engagement, retention and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the HR function in developing and executing HR strategy aligned with the organisation’s business plan, growth and transformation agenda.
  • Deliver end-to-end HR across the geography, including talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, learning and development, compensation and benefits, employee relations and HR operations.
  • Ensure compliance with local labour laws, regulatory requirements and internal HR policies and standards, maintaining high ethical and confidentiality standards.
  • Own salary structures, benchmarking, benefits, annual reviews, promotions, salary adjustments and compensation/manpower cost analysis.
  • Partner with leadership on organisational design, change management and culture initiatives, including restructuring and large-scale workforce planning.
  • Lead workforce planning ensuring Saudization, DEI and succession planning are taken into consideration.
  • Mentor and develop HR leaders and high-potential talent, fostering a culture of continuous learning, innovation and strong people leadership capabilities.

Requirements

  • SAUDI NATIONALS ONLY
  • Must have experience of leading a team of at least 5 people.
  • Must have worked in a company which has at least 500 employees.
  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Significant senior HR leadership experience, including leading HR for a geography or business unit within a multinational or consulting/engineering environment.
  • Proven track record managing HR with strong knowledge of local labour law and HR compliance.
  • Demonstrated experience in organisational design, change management, talent management and leadership development.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills, with the ability to coach senior leaders.
  • Experience leveraging HR technologies/HRIS and analytics to drive decisions and improve HR service delivery.
  • High integrity, discretion and resilience, able to operate in a fast-paced, matrixed, multicultural environment.
  • Fluent in English and Arabic.
