Senior Fit Out Architect: Main Contractor

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a landmark project and work alongside a highly skilled team.

This is to work for a leading contractor who are currently seeking an experienced Senior Fit-out Architect – Technical Office to join the team in Riyadh for the King Salman Knowledge District (KSKD) Project.

Must be available to start work within 3 weeks & be based in Riyadh

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Technical Office for all architectural fit-out packages, coordinating with MEP, structural, façade, AV/IT, security, lighting, acoustics, and FF&E teams.
  • Drive shop drawings, as-built drawings, BIM models (LOD 300–400), and RFI resolution; ensure drawings reflect site conditions and design intent.
  • Chair weekly coordination meetings, maintain clash detection logs (Navisworks/BIM 360), and issue action trackers with due dates.
  • Translate design intent into constructible details, mock-up criteria, and technical method statements for high-end finishes (e.g., book-matched stone, veneer & marquetry, decorative metals, feature ceilings, specialty plaster & paint systems, bespoke doors, architectural lighting integration).
  • Manage samples, mock-ups, and benchmarks with designers/clients; capture acceptance criteria and quality control checklists.

Requirements

  • Must have at least 15 years’ experience as an Architect driving shop drawings and as-built drawings.
  • Qualified as an Architect or in Architectural Engineering.
  • Experience with BIM models (LOD 300–400).
  • Experience producing and reviewing complex interior/FF&E drawings.
  • Must have experience working contracting side in a technical/design office.
  • Ideally be based in Riyadh, must be in Saudi Arabia currently.
  • Must be available to start work within 3 weeks.
