The Doha Metro was built to provide a modern, efficient, and sustainable transportation system for Qatar, reducing congestion and supporting the country’s infrastructure goals ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2022 and beyond.
The Brief
One95 Global brings extensive experience in supporting major rail developments. The company previously partnered with Qatar Rail and multiple international PMCs to source construction and project management professionals with specialist expertise in underground rail systems.
This included talent for the design and oversight of underground rail construction and station fit-out, ensuring complex projects were delivered to world-class standards.
The Solution
Utilising our global network, including sourcing for metro/rail projects in Asia prior to Doha Metro – we targeted specialists across the globe in tunnelling, rail systems, and testing & commissioning, placing construction directors, tunnelling managers, structural engineers, project controls directors, interface managers, and quality/HSE leaders.
Our recruitment strategy focused on candidates with experience in complex metro projects and multi-JV coordination.
The Outcome
Our placements ensured timely delivery of the Red, Green, and Gold lines, contributing to the successful launch of Doha Metro’s 76 km network and 37 stations in 2019.
We was able to get involved from design to handover, playing a major part in sourcing the right professionals with the right personalities to deliver such a demanding program.
