Diriyah Gate is a culture‑led giga‑project reviving the birthplace of the Saudi state around At‑Turaif (UNESCO World Heritage) and Wadi Hanifah, blending Najdi heritage with contemporary urban living. The 14 km² masterplan (Diriyah Company) will deliver museums, Diriyah Square, hospitality (40+ hotels), residential, education and public realm, creating a globally significant destination and walkable city that supports Vision 2030 diversification and tourism growth.

The Brief

One95 Global was engaged to support the programme’s rapid upscale.

We were required to source candidates for international architects, design consultants, PMCs and PMOs—from concept and masterplanning through design development, procurement and delivery—aligned to Diriyah’s heritage standards, Najdi design code, and the client’s ambitious milestones. Our scope covered leadership and specialist roles across urban design, architecture (heritage & hospitality), structures & facades, MEP, landscape/public realm, transport planning, cost & commercial, interface management, and programme controls in support of Diriyah Company/DGDA and their delivery partners.

The Solution

We combined targeted headhunting and advanced sourcing to identify architects, design consultants, PMC leaders, and PMO specialists with giga-project credentials and heritage-sensitive expertise. Our approach focused on Najdi design compliance, UNESCO buffer requirements, and large-scale urban development experience, ensuring candidates could manage complex multi-package interfaces and accelerated timelines.

The Outcome

Our strategic placements reinforced design and delivery teams across architecture, engineering, and program management, ensuring Diriyah Gate progressed on schedule toward its 2027 milestones.

By supplying heritage-compliant specialists and strengthening PMO governance, we enabled effective risk, cost, and interface management for a multi-billion-dollar, multi-package program. Early successes included supporting the opening of Bujairi Terrace and At-Turaif, while building capacity for future phases such as Diriyah Square and hospitality assets. One95 Global’s contribution helped maintain design integrity, accelerate approvals, and deliver world-class standards for one of Saudi Arabia’s most ambitious giga-projects.
