Senior Construction Manager – Public Realm

Excellent opportunity to work for our client, a Tier 1 main contractor, who is seeking a Senior Construction Manager to run the site for a major public realm scheme on the prestigious Diriyah Gate development, reporting directly to the Project Manager/Director. The programme is being delivered across two phases and four hoarding phases, with hardscape, softscape and utilities packages running concurrently throughout.

You will take day-to-day responsibility for the whole site, coordinating trades and sub-contractors across all three disciplines at once, and managing the phased handover of completed sections while construction continues on adjacent phases.

Responsibilities

  • Run the whole site on a day-to-day basis, reporting to the Project Manager/Director
  • Leading the delivery of this huge public realm project as part of Diriyah.
  • Manage delivery across two project phases and four hoarding phases.
  • Coordinate concurrent hardscape, softscape and utilities works.
  • Oversee phased handover of completed sections while works continue on other phases.
  • Lead site teams and sub-contractors to programme, quality, safety and cost targets.
  • Manage stakeholder coordination across all site disciplines.

Requirements

  • Graduate Civil Engineer (degree-qualified).
  • Minimum 20 years’ construction management experience.
  • Proven leadership of a corridor, park or masterplan public realm scheme of similar length.
  • Experience running hardscape, softscape and utilities packages concurrently on the same site.
  • Track record of handing over completed sections while continuing to deliver adjacent phases.
  • Experience managing multi-phase, multi-hoarding-phase site logistics.
