MEP Project Director – Stadium

One95 Global is recruiting an experienced MEP Project Director to lead the MEP delivery of a major stadium construction project in Saudi Arabia. This is a senior leadership position responsible for the full project lifecycle, from construction through testing, commissioning, and handover.

An exciting opportunity to play a huge part in the delivery of an iconic stadium which will be used as part of the FIFA World Cup in 2034, whilst working for a leading international Tier 1 main contractor.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the overall delivery of a major stadium project from construction through testing, commissioning and handover.
  • Provide strategic leadership across MEP, Electrical, ELV, ICT, Life Safety, Specialist Systems and T&C.
  • Drive project execution in line with approved programme, budget, quality and HSE requirements.
  • Lead coordination with the Client, PMC, Consultant, Authorities, Designers and Specialist Subcontractors.
  • Oversee major electrical systems including HV/MV/LV, substations, generators, UPS, lighting, stadium floodlighting, BMS, ELV and emergency systems.
  • Ensure effective integration of stadium specialist, broadcast, security, ICT and event systems.
  • Lead integrated testing & commissioning, operational readiness and final handover.
  • Manage project risks, commercial performance, contracts, procurement and subcontractor performance.
  • Drive timely resolution of technical, commercial, construction and interface issues.
  • Lead and motivate a large, multidisciplinary project team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 25+ years’ experience, including 10+ years in senior leadership
  • Proven experience as Project Director / Project Manager on major stadium or sports-venue projects
  • Strong Electrical/MEP background with overall project delivery capability
  • Main Contractor experience preferred
  • Experience with FIFA / World Cup / Olympic / UEFA / AFC or other international stadium projects highly preferred
  • Experience on mega projects valued at SAR 3 billion+ is an advantage
  • Strong knowledge of FIDIC, project controls, T&C and stakeholder management
  • GCC / Saudi Arabia experience preferred
